Renae Morelli

Renae Morelli is a former model, fire fighter and currently working as an investigative analyst. She's a late bloomer to back packing, getting her start just six years ago, but like most everything Renee does, she doesn't tip toe into it. She's hiked the PCT (1,000 miles before leaving due to wildfires and home sickness), the Appalacian Trail (Georgia nad North Carolina section), the the Laugavegur Trail in Iceland, as well as 14ers Mt Whitney and Pikes Peak. Renee doesn't have a million miles of hiking under her belt, but she does have a blind willingness to plunge into an adventure and make a bunch of mistakes others can learn from.

Renee is here to answer all the uncomfortable questions women are too afraid to ask! Does Aunt Flo practice "Leave No Trace?" Why moisture wicking underwear is important. Squatting to pee is so last year. If you love chaffing then you'll love shorts. Why the knife is for bears but the spray is for people (she's kidding!)
